Feeding Brighter Futures appeal week begins

Get ready for Greggs Foundation's annual fundraising week, returning to shops on April 27th!   

This year, we're excited to introduce a new name as we kick off the first of two Feeding Brighter Futures appeal weeks, aiming to surpass our 2024 fundraising total. 

Feeding Brighter Futures aims to expand on the success of breakfast clubs with a schools-focused support programme covering even more of the school day. The new programme will extend from breakfast to after school and into the school holidays, ensuring more extra-curricular activities available to all children.   

Whether it's providing a safe place to play, engaging in additional learning, or trying out new sports and hobbies, we will now support equal access to enrichment beyond the classroom for all children that need it.

A bright future for the 2025 appeal 

Following the resounding success of last year's appeal weeks - which raised over £200,000 – we are hopeful we can top 2024’s record breaking total to get Feeding Brighter Futures off to a resounding start.   

Currently, across our network of 1000 schools, 75,000 children access support funded by the Greggs Foundation every single day. The funds raised during the Feeding Brighter Futures Appeal Week will play a crucial role in ensuring children and families will continue to receive the food, funds and resources they need to thrive.   

We are hoping Greggs customers will support our appeal by choosing to make a 25p till donation when paying at any Greggs to help feed a brighter future.   

There are lots of other ways to support the Feeding Brighter Futures appeal: 

  • A Greggs Jammy Heart biscuit is not only a delicious treat, but also a way to donate!  #haveaheart and 5p from every biscuit sold is donated to The Greggs Foundation, and during the Feeding Brighter Futures Appeal Week this rises to 10p.   

  • Greggs colleagues never fail to step up when it comes to supporting charitable causes and Appeal Week is no different.  From fancy dress to shop challenges, we know our colleagues are seasoned fundraisers and always strive to make an impact for The Greggs Foundation. 

  • You can also donate 25p on the Greggs app! Simply click the donate button when making an order via the app and a donation will be added to the overall total during appeal week.
