Round 4 community grants awarded to key local organisations
The Greggs Foundation are delighted to announce the successful grantees for the fourth round of our 2024 Community Grants Programme. This initiative aims to support local charities and community organisations that are helping to tackle the challenges facing communities.
Each successful grantee will receive funding of up to £40,000 over two years, providing essentials funds for their organisation as they provide key services, resources, and support to individuals and families across the UK.
We are proud to support the following with a Greggs Foundation Community Grant.
Briardale House Youth & Community Projects Ltd
Promoting community-building initiatives that provide safe spaces for young people in Blyth.
People and Drugs Ltd (Silx Teen Bar Youth Project)
Dedicated to helping teens navigate challenges by offering a safe social environment, mentorship, and personal development opportunities.
Supporting mental health and well-being initiatives to help individuals in need build resilience and confidence
Fostering youth community engagement and development through safe, structured activities and mentorship.
Refugee, Asylum Seeker and Migrant Action
Providing resources and support to refugees and asylum seekers to aid in integration, skill-building, and community belonging.
Empowering young people in Jaywick from underrepresented backgrounds with the skills, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Aiding individuals and families through crisis support, emotional well-being programmes, and community services in Rhyl, North Wales.
Creating supportive environments for refugees and asylum seekers, focusing on integration, education, and empowerment in Stockton-on-Tees.
Providing support to individuals and families in Rhyl, with services focused on housing, employment, and community engagement.
We will also be continuing to fund the following community projects as part of the round four grant awards:
Supporting vulnerable individuals, including those facing homelessness, with pathways to improve lives and opportunities.
Dedicated to supporting children and families in need across the UK through programmes in education, health, and social services – we will be supporting Barnardo’s work in Glasgow .
Serving as a beacon of support for migrant and low-income communities, with programmes to help improve resilience and inclusion in Bradford.
Centre of Wellbeing, Training & Culture
Promoting mental health, cultural inclusion, and well-being through workshops and training in Oldham.
Connecting children with nature and outdoor education through hands-on activities and environmental awareness initiatives in Glasgow.
The Greggs Foundation Community Grants Programme is committed to strengthening local communities by supporting projects that bring people together, reduce isolation, and help to overcome the challenges facing local communities.
